Steve1943,
how would Google detect posts that were bookmarked that are Web 2.0 properties that are not under your name such as a Hubpage or Squidoo page which then point back to you.
The smart thing to do is to buffer your site with like properties including a host of others like Bumpztee - SpongFish - LiveJournal etc , and place original content on those with links pointing to your site.
What you do is end up creating a Funnel effect and by Bookmarking those properties you help to add juice to those links on those pages which point back to you.
I don't know that Google will get that sophisticated and target your $ page if you do it this way.
regards.
