Bookmarking Demon?

I splurged and bought this software through my own aff id.. it only has 13 working bookmark drivers, and some others that are invite only. Of these, BMD can only submit to about 10 of these bookmarking networks.
Not sure if this is really worth the $97-- or in my case the $50 to spend for a few bookmarks.

chachinga, I have been using BMD now for over 1 1/2 years and it was definitely worth the money. Only with the last update, the maker said he did not update all bookmarking sites as he is working on Version 4, which is not based on the Version 3 system... That was all great news, unfortunately he changed the exchange dates a few times ... (still showing:in August)

Glad to hear it has been working for you, but for anyone who purchases it now it seems a little overpriced due to the limited bookmark drivers. I will wait until the new release to see if version 4 brings greater functionality than what is in the current version, otherwise I'll get refunded.
I wouldn't waste time or money on version 3 now - it's barely functional at all.
Wait for version 4 - whenever that does finally see the light of day.
As regards availability of v4 - what dev project ever did run to plan?
I've been a paid owner since v1 and the author has always come through for us before .........
but realistically, the time needed to crack each target site must be just a SWAG - until they are cracked.
The spec is fast changing in this application area - so you are running hard to stand still.
The target sites get smarter by the day - so cracking them just gets tougher and tougher.
Plus, v4 is a major rewrite - and we all know what a can of worms that implies.

It looks lke it's not coming out soon. I'd love to buy this tool...when a WORKING version is finally release.
Maybe a competitor will come up with another tool (that works) even before V4 is release.

This software is buggy and very hit and miss. I have been using it for about a year and the number of live accounts is down to about a dozen now. This software is dying it seems.

Cool - thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm sure as promised on the BMD website, the price will go up for new customers, so I'll probably hold on to this copy to see what comes around.

Major Announcement (31 Aug, 2008)
Firstly I would like to apologize for the huge delay in getting the latest update ready.
Secondly, we are not closing shopWe are working real hard to get the update out asap.
A lot of changes are going on with our programing team that has caused the crazy delay in BMD4. It was originally planned for release on 29 August but we failed to meet the deadline again.
BMD4 is not an upgrade over BMD3, it is now a totally new bookmarking software (you can see the screenshots below)
The bad news is we need another 1-2 weeks to finalize BMD4. I know this will anger many users but we cannot release a software that is not functioning fully.
Here are the new features of BMD4:
Bookmark to 100+ Social Bookmarking Sites.
20 Main Sites + Scuttle Sites + Scuttle Plus Sites + Pligg Sites
Q: Why are some of the popular bookmarking sites not included?
A: Although there are many sites but most of them provide useless links.
Example: redirect links, hidden private profile page, no rssfeeds
Q: Some software claim to have 100+ social bookmarking sites too, what is the different between those software and BMD?
A: They do not have account creation feature. You have to manually create your accounts. They include a lot of foreign and niche related bookmarking sites which are not 'general'.
Add your own Scuttle Sites, Scuttle Plus Sites and Pligg sites
Besides having access to our own list of scuttle, scuttleplus and pligg sites, you can add your own into BMD4.
New Randomize Descriptions
Besides the current #break#, you can now mix it with { | }
For example: {Cheap|Best|Cheapest} Speed Reading {Guide|Course|Program}
If you use plr articles for your description, you can use our new smart #break# feature that will automatically break your description into snippets for bookmarking.
Bookmark to Random Accounts
New randomize feature to randomly select a % of the accounts for bookmarking.
Pinging Feature
When you create your bookmarking accounts, the Rss Feed of your bookmarking accounts will be placed into a new Ping tab. You can now ping your profile's rssfeed from BMD4. This is the final missing piece to the whole bookmarking process.
Hide your bookmarks with random sites
Now you can randomly grab urls from the internet to mix with your urls. This will hide your links and make your bookmarking account more legit. No other application has this feature.
Two modes available - Beginner Mode & Experts Mode
Multitread for faster bookmarking
No installation needed, BMD4 will now be portable
Bookmarking Site Updates will be live, you no longer need to download new software
We have removed Scuttle searcher and Proxy Server searcher from BMD4 due to the poor results.
BMD4 will be sold at $147 + zero$ monthly fee. All existing members will lock in on current price and get the upgrade for free.

I am all giddy inside. Can't wait to check the new version.
Oops - sorry about that (in a rush) - knock it off my post count.
Something I'd like to see in BD is a drip feed capability - slow release posts to do little and often. Like the 3WayLink exchanges are using - to keep it all natural looking.
I didn't see any consideration of "slow release" in the V4 spec and frankly I don't care much about the rest (except random BMs for camouflage).
My temptation is always to slam out a load of bookmarks to every BM site/account and for every domain/page permutation I own - then rush off to the next firefight and forget BD for 3 weeks.
And I'm probably not the only greedy, disorganized wanabee BH on the block. But it's increasingly a recipe for Web2 bans and/or SE sand-box (been there - didn't enjoy).
If any of you think "slow release" is important in a BD type product, please comment. And if you've paid for BD, maybe even add your weight by writing Ed Brian to consider the idea.
Any techies out there that can put this concept more coherently as a requirement to a programmer, I'd appreciate your help to formulate a more detailed proposal to Ed.
PS on second thoughts, maybe a thread devoted mainly to ripping off the script is not the ideal forum for enhancement requests?
