I haven't came across any book that has changed the life literally but I am currently ready Quite by Susan Cain. Good read!

I am here and do my job because in 2005 I read "Persuasive Technology" by B.J. Fogg, this is not my preferred book but it has changed my life.

A very good one that make me think alot about the actual world: 1984 by George Orwell

I have heard a lot about it but it just seems kind off... futuristic.

Not only, it's about control of population (their way of thinking, acting,...), totalitarism and many other things you can compare with the actual world (book is from 1949). Caution, big brother is watching you!

Haven't read whole book, but reading about people, historical and prehistorical figures is really helpful.

The Autobiography of Malcolm X.

Siddhartha by Herman Hesse.

The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.

If anyone hasn't read themselves a copy of the autobiography of Malcolm X, please for the love of everything do so. It is so inspiring and mentality-changing that you'll want to read it again and again. I've read it three times. I highly recommend it, and even though you don't know me.. Just fucking do it.

Rich Dad Poor Dad :) will set you to think the right way

I just finished Rich Dad Poor Dad yesterday, and I must say, it is DEF. a game changer. Completely changed the way I think about money, assets & liabilities. And the book is old too, like 1997, so of course a lot this can be twisted into IM techniques as well.

Also to add to the list:
-Start Something that Matters by Blake Mycoskie (This book really inspired me to want to do more for others, and one of the 1st things I did after reading was to start donating part of my proceeds to charity. Really great read, couldn't put it down)
-Don't Sweat the Small Stuff- And it's All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson (He has wrote many books that start with "Dont sweat the small stuff..." And they are all worth reading. AND they are super cheap, on amazon, even see them at Goodwill's all the time :)

Hope these help, these are all great books and have inspired me to read more books like them. I used to only read Fiction, now it's just about the opposite.

Quick technique is just to google most of these books with "+ summary" and watch a 5-10 minute video summary of these if you don't have time (like me) to read the whole thing...
This one was great - really spoke to me:

When I was about 14 I read The Spirit Bear, it really helped me to stop acting like such a dick all the time and start being nicer to everyone around me and treating them with respect.
