Bolding keywords in articles a good idea?

Bolding enhances visibility, but you should highlight only the main keypoints (useful for readers) sparingly - to get better trust that your content provides value and not the target keywords to break the coherence of reading!

Paragraphs with text bolded unnecessarily look spammy and doesn't help with SEO. Use bold tag sanely and logically.

Just bolding keywords doesn't matters much. You can bold the important part of articles to engage the visitors and it helps a lot. Also, don't over do with that.

Bolding keywords in articles can be a good idea as it can help to draw attention to important information and make it easier for readers to scan the text quickly. It can also help with SEO as search engines may give more weight to keywords that are bolded. However, it is important to use this technique sparingly, as overuse can make the text appear cluttered and difficult to read. It's also good to use different types of formatting techniques like italics, underline, headings and subheadings to make the text more visually appealing and easier to read.

Does bolding/highlighting keywords in articles help in any way? Is it good SEO practice?
  • Bolding or highlighting keywords in articles can help with readability for users to scan the content and find what they are looking for, but it doesn't have a direct impact on SEO
  • In the case of article submission, bolding the keywords (anchor text) and taking backlinks from a third - party site or bolding the keywords in your site which has internal links are a good idea

When important pieces of text in a paragraph are bolded, Google can understand the content more easily. Identifying our most important content pieces can be easier for search engines.

The use of bolded keywords can improve visibility. In general, bolding should be used sparingly, and only for relevant keywords.
