ha ha we are 24*7 on PC mate
we=no workout
we=no workout
Can anyone suggest some good vegetarian diet? I have been relying heavily on whey protein for my source of protein since I don't even eat eggs.
These work well http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceries/index.jsp?bmUID=1337000911160 5.4g protein and 1.1g carbs per sausage and quorn meat substitute contains all the amino acids found in meat.
You dont need 300 grams of protein a day, you need a constant supply over weeks/months..
About 150-200g/day max. Your body can only utilise this amount of protein each day, the rest is excreted.
The 1g/lb myth is total BS.
Well trust me my friend, you have it all wrong. Insulin spike happens after you consume simple carbs post workout. Here we are talking about consuming a protein shake for post workout
Lets look at it this way, we all know that carbs are the main source of energy, if you eat them at night and go to sleep, are you going to use that energy? NO. thats why it will be stored as fat.
Yes totally agree, also I read somewhere that you body can only use up to 30 grams at any one time so having more than that at any meal is pointless as well.
Right.. this is the last thing I ever wanted: muscleteen accusing me of publishing "misinformation"
I don't remember accusing you. Can you quote me when I did that? Cause if not, then you are accusing me of accusing you..which is kinda wrong cause I didn't.. :S
As much as I appreciate everyone's effort to contribute in this thread, I'm sad to see that there is a LOT of misinformation going on here.
Wings[SENSE]: bro in your previous post you mentioned insulin spike after having a protein shake, which I am sure even your brilliant scientist/researcher will disagree on. Anyway, it's always good to disagree![]()

you sure?
So whenever you post such general statement, others, including me will believe that you are talking about the OP
So if you think someone posted incorrect information, quote that, and reply to them.
