Bobbylove's RANKING DOMINATION 2012 EDITION

Hi Bobby,

Do u normally wait for the cache:301site.com to show the money site in the cache first before blasting your money site with backlinks?

I would assume so, but would like to confirm.

I do not really wait for anything.

I build links all the time until I get to the point where I am ranking #1.

I do not question Bobby's success using this method, but in my research on this I found this SEOMoz video by Rand Fishkin which indicates that an aged domain/site in not an important ranking factor at all. Much more important are the number of backlinks to the old domain, the quality of the sites linking to the domain, and the relevancy.

Aged Sites and Old Links

I also found this post to add some interesting perspectives on using 301 redirects with aged domains.

A 301 redirect would pass the link juice but there are a few reasons I don't do it.

1) I can link out to a bunch of different domains when I recreate the site, but only one domain if I do a 301. If you're just working on one site this wouldn't be as much of an issue but with a 301 you're still limited to linking to just one URL from each domain.

2) There is less control over the anchor text with a 301. In essence, every anchor text that was pointing to that old domain would now be redirected to your site and that could confuse Google when it's trying to figure out what you should rank for. This is especially true if your site doesn't have a strong backlink profile and is completely unrelated to the domains you redirect to it.

3) If you just do a redirect I'm pretty certain that Google will see the dropped domain as a new site where if you recreate the old site it will probably think it is still the same old site, thus retaining its age.

I have done this type of 301 redirect in the past but I never saw a huge increase in rankings or even increase in PR so I don't do it anymore. If you find highly relevant sites it might be worth your while but the time saved in not building the site would be lost in searching more for sites that are very related to your money site.

Thanks for the post again Bobby, I have been reading this thread and it is rather informative and very long to finish and I am a slow reader cos I have to understand what I'm reading so I tend to take my time. I don't know it you have answered my question already but I'm gonna ask so accept my apologies in advance.

1. If I use the 301 redirect on a new site is it a sure thing that the domain age will passed down from godaddy bought auction site to the newly registered domain cos I am trying to apply for an adsense account and I have read that the domain has to be at least 6 months old, so was thinking if a 301 can be used to achieve the the 6 months status that google needs to even look at the application, of-course there are other factor like relevant unique content and other things.

2. I read some where earlier on this thread that you would just blast your money site directly after the 301 has been done, doesn't that contradict everything taught here on bhw not to blast your money site as it would get deindexed or are you actually able to blast your money site simply cos of the 301 redirect and domain age juice is 100% passed down?

Hope my questions make sense as it would help clear somethings as far as google adsense account application is concerned and building links to a newly registered domain.
Thanks

Good tut, but i will like to repurpose an aged domain with a different content. I have read that i need to purchase a Whois private to prevent resetting the age to zero by google. How true is dis and have you repurposed an aged domain before?

Bobby I hope you can still answer some questions:

1. How can you rank in 7 days if a 301 redirect takes up to 30 days?
2. Did your websites ever get penalized?

Bobby , how many times per month do you blast a site?

I am currently doing 550 ALN blast 4 times a month to the index page. Is this too many?
How many days should I wait between blasts?

I blast my sites every day or every other day until it reaches the desired location on the first page.

Amazing info!
But why are the URL's at the end removed?

Because people thought I was doing self-promotion, which I was not.

You can find the new ALN provider by look at Jacky8 service:

+ New .COMs $7.99/yr plus 18 cents/yr ICANN fee. Discount based on new one-year registration prices as of 1/27/2012 with sale price reflected in your

just an example and that link take you to a godaddy page saying this domain expired on bla bla date and it awaiting renewal or about to be deleted.

Does that mean that the site is indexed? cos I mean I've been on this for days now and perhaps I'm missing the point.

Trying to finish the redirect part so I can join the ALN network and start buying High PR link and see what happens.

Please would really appreciate if you can sort this part out for me so I can move to the next step

Thanks

If it shows the godaddy page in the preview section of Google, yes it is indexed.

Jacky8's service is currently experiencing some problems and the order page is currently down. I must say the service did work a treat on my rankings but I have been waiting over a week for 2 new campaigns to start and still no joy.

I hope Jacky8 can get this up and running again soon.

As of the current moment, I am recommending to avoid ALN.

I am going to be testing new link sources soon.
