The question is too open for an answer.
What do you want the car for drivability? Userbility? Status? Cost?
You have given the option of two manufacturers.
The M3 just about beats the RS4 for speed but looses out incredibly for coolness.
How often are you ever going to reach top speed anyway?
The M5 Pisses the M3 for speed but depreciates in value faster.
Haven't come across an RS5 yet that would be well cool.
M6 against R8 no contest R8 all day long.
Refine your question and you may get information rather then opinions.

Found an RS5 http://www.audi.co.uk/new-cars/a5/rs5-coupe.html

As i said before it's not for the speed! I can't afford crashing a second car :p And Actualy I can't afford an RS5 or M5 :s with my budget (around $16k) all i can get in my country as a good car is an A4 or Bmw 3. And the next one gonna certainly be a Maserati Quattroporte (good looking, good for business, fast, chicks trape...)

I got a barely used 2009 audi last january for 8k. Got hit on an intersection last july, and I got 42,000 bucks in insurance, that I spent on a G class for 30k with 10k miles on it. So 4k profit... thats like 2 days in gas money for the G class.

2009 Audi for $8k? Is that how much you paid the guy to steal it for you?

Get an infiniti g37 :D. Love it way more than I loved my 3 series. The A4 is out for me because it doesn't have much power. However audis have a VERY smooth ride. The bmw will feel pretty smooth but as soon as you hit bumps/potholes it feels like the car is riding on wooden wheels because of the run flats.

Overall, g37 is the best bang for your buck. But if you're deciding between those two, get the bmw, preferably a 335.

Just read that you're looking for a good looking car - Get the g37 coupe. It's definitely the easiest to mod out of all of them and you can add things from front lips to spoilers, custom grille, iron man headlights. Where I am, theres BARELY any other g37 coupes but you see A4s and BMWs left and right.

Just my two cents. At the end of the day just test drive them and see what you like.

Certainly 2005 it's around 16K in my country I can't afford more expensive as a car is not a real asset and lose value quickly

For the crash I was driving so fast while is was drunk, so i smashed a tree...To repaire it it cost 6k so i prefered selling it and working to get a new one

WTF??? $16k for a 2005 audi???

Here in my country that model costs $8k with full options. I am too thinking to buy an audi i have a vw golf 5 and found 2 that i like for $11k. One of them is from 2008 and one from 2007.

Audi mos def... Beemers are for coked up, brolic, rapist german dudes in their mid 30's.

I wasn't lying in the beginning of the thread. Bought this today.

I bought my momma Benz I bought my Booboo a Jag...

Audi vote hiar. Just because eveyrone knows quattro is better than xdrive. Comes in handy in this weird weather this year :P

Although I admit some of the older ones have some gearbox issues (automatic)..

as a former audi owner i would saw to go with an BMW for sure...the cost to maintain an audi is the worst, they are not that fast, and if you are looking for an attention grabber you will get it by driving a BMW :)

I finaly bought a BMW 3.18 CI, 2002 for around 16 000 bucks. It looks like the one in the picture. A FULL OPTIONS one :D I fucking love it!! Thanks for your advices guys! I hope this will motivate others to move their asses and work harder to get sexy cars&stuff :)

Audi has no balls + BMW is more fun = swing the Beemer if you can a 335, you won't regret it!

BMW and Audi both have poor reliability (below average on JD Power survey). Mercedes-Benz has VERY good reliability.

Audi - Great looks (best looking of them all), drives like crap. Front wheel drive will never feel as good as rear wheel drive (even with all those computers helping it). Four wheel drive uses too much fuel

BMW - Great to drive, feels very sporty, but bad on rough roads.

Mercedes-Benz - Great to drive (comfort over sporty), good on rough roads, better looking than the BMW and VERY reliable.

Get a Mercedes-Benz C250 CDI ;-)

If you do your research, you'll find that BMW have sold cars with poor reliability for YEARS! Here is one video...
