Yeah, that extension works in some cases, but it’s hit or miss. I’ve seen it help with stuck invites, but it doesn’t fix underlying BM limits or trust issues. If it keeps failing, the restriction is usually on Meta’s side.

Yes, many users are seeing this it’s a Meta-side restriction/bug, not your setup. Some BMs are temporarily limited due to trust signals or rollout issues, and it usually resolves on its own or after verification.

I’ve noticed the same issue recently. It doesn’t impact all BMs—mostly low-trust ones, those with recent role changes, or pending verification. Facebook appears to be temporarily limiting new member additions. In many cases, checking for policy warnings, asset issues, or incomplete business verification explains why some BMs can add members while others can’t.

I haven't encountered this problem. This might be a subtle bug in Facebook's throttling mechanism for Business Managers (BMs). To fix this, you should put your BM account on hold for 7 to 14 days, then restart it, and it should work normally again.
 
A few days ago, my BM also failed to add new users. I then attempted to add persons using the Smit plugin, and it was successful. However, other individuals tried it and it didn't work. You could find success with my approach if you attempt it as well.
 
There's a little trick: switch the BM interface back to the old one and invite others.

Careful using plugins as usually it will cost meta to restrict the BM due to APIs and automation.

Meta is tightening their BM security across the BMs. To prevent stolen accounts due to some scripts inserted by people who pretend to 'check the BM'.

You can invite people into the BM without issues if the profile you use to invite s the BM owner profile.
 
Have you tried adding members using SMIT? I've tried it and it worked.

Even now, this situation continues. I have to constantly filter through the business cards to find the ones that might be useful.
 
Some Business Managers are currently running into issues when adding new members, while others don’t seem to be affected. It appears to be inconsistent and may be related to temporary system checks or account-specific conditions rather than a universal problem.
 
BM issues usually come from past flags or mismatched info. Clean up the setup and rebuild fresh, that’s usually what fixes it.
