currently still have errors sometimes.but can use other admin to share or use smit to share permissions

Seems like there's a discrepancy between people who think it's a bug versus an intentional friction feature...
 
After many BM problems, the error of not being able to add new members happened last week, everything is stable now
 
Exactly. Some BMs are currently bugged when adding new people. When I try to share access with a new email in the BM, I always receive the message “Unable to add users to the business.” Meanwhile, others work perfectly fine with no errors at all. It’s really confusing
 
There has been a bug that prevents you from adding new users to your Business Account (BM). Although Facebook has reportedly fixed the bug and things are back to normal, some users are still having trouble. I personally tried using the Smit extension to add people and it worked, although it didn’t work for everyone. You can try this Smit extension, maybe it will solve your problem while you wait for Facebook to fully stabilize.
 
We have not encountered this issue yet although we have seen a few cases on BHW. Can you not add members either via link or from another admin?
 
Although there was news that Facebook had fixed this bug last week and the system is back to normal, if you are still affected by the algorithm storm, the temporary solution that I am applying is to refresh the session and try using a different email address to perform the operation. You should try this method to bypass the error while waiting for the system to fully stabilize.
 
I’ve run into this a couple of times. For some BMs the option just disappears for a while and then suddenly works again. Doesnt seem tied to any specific change on our end, so it might be a temporary glitch on metas side.

Many people are facing this situation, however there is still a way to take action.
 
Hard to say what the throughline is about what the cause is. No doubt some experiencing issues is due to the BM but there will be others who identify with this but likely have the issue on their end.
 
I also have a similar error that has affected many of my BMs, and despite trying many methods, I still haven’t been able to fix it

Usually it's because BM hasn't been verified, has a bad account history, or logs in randomly... so the system tightens it up. If BM is clean and verified properly, it's rare to encounter that type of lock.
 
Hey man, yeah a bunch of us have seen that BM issue lately. Looks like Meta is tightening the trust checks again, so some BMs get limited while others stay normal. What helped me avoid the “can’t add member” bug:
  • warm up the admin FB before adding
  • avoid adding fresh accounts or too many at once
  • switch IP/device to something consistent
  • check if the BM has any hidden flags (ads disabled, payment issues)
Usually it clears after 24–48 hrs if the BM has good history.
You tried adding members through Partners instead?
 
Some bms experience this intermittently, possibly due to backend updates. Switching to another trusted bm often solves the issue temporarily.

Yeah, a lot of BMs are facing that lately. Some can add members, some can’t — it seems like a Meta-side bug or security check. I usually wait a few hours or try from another admin, and it works again.
 
I'm having the same problem; I'm wondering if my Business Manager is locked.
 
You can use the Smit utility to add users to your business account; a small note is that you may need to verify the code via email each time.

I experienced this, and I used the SMIT utility to share my Business Managers.
 
If you're having trouble adding people to your Business Manager, , try using the Smit extension to overcome this error. Note that this solution may not work with all BMs.
