I'm still new to Clickbank.
2-days ago, I made a sale and I was rather satisfied and happy about it. But about 6-7 hours ago, I realized that buyer (according to the receipt) seeked for a refund. Surely the person must have read the whole contents of the ebook and seek for a refund. When I saw that, my expression was exactly like the ASCII art on top.

Damn... anyone had similar experience?

No similar experience - never promoted products on clickbank,

but you can't do much about it :) There are some smart guys that always ask for refunds for everything they purchase after they are done reading, no matter wether they liked it or not.

Hey Silver,

perhaps that's the enemy of affiliate marketing? Damn..

when using sickbank, always calculate 10-20% refund rate, depending on the niche. It's too easy to get a refund at sickbank. 6 months ago, I bought a 97$ product, asked for a refund and got my money back, no questions asked, and I still get updates for that product :-)

OMG! I didn't know about that.

Damn.. that's a big flaw of Crapbank!

I know. I know. I've seen posted on another forum. A guy showed transactions over a year of a guy buying and refunding different products on his account. It was hilarious and Clickbank didn't do anything to block the CC or anything.

I am active clickbank affiliate. In the light of my experience I can say health related products have very low refund rates.

It is very common.
Whenever u make a sale, don't get too happy with it.
Especially IM products, will get much higher refund % because everyone knows about it.

wow thats cool how did you make that art man how long did it take you to do that man you talented i never new you could do something like that i imagine it must have took you hours to make this thread thats my only guess lol

umm im surprise nobody said nothing wow

its because, if CB just ignore the refund requests, they might actually lose their merchant account. They probably had some issues last time, and they're accepting it right now as cost of doing business and to staying afloat.

i started CB affiliate for less than 2 month. I made my first sale after 2 weeks, and the "bloody" customer refund in less than 24 hours of sale.....
So far I am promoting 1 products, 190 hops, 3 sales with 1 refund... is this bad???

Quit worrying about the small stuff. :)
You don't have any control over them getting a refund.
Concentrate on getting more traffic or better conversions or both :D
Now if you get 100 sales and 100 refunds then choose a different product... :pound:
