personally, I like WP better because of all the plugins they have.
if you're IMMENSE newbie and just came into IM with zero budget in, go for blogger.
Blogger:
Pros - Free hosting, extremely secured
Cons - No customization. Enough said
Wordpress:
Pros - utter beauty, customization and range of plugins which automates/ease nos. of tasks.
Cons - Cash out few $$ for hosting, Lil' fishy in terms of security as compared to Blogger.
My choice ~ Wordpress

I really, REALLY like Tumblr for my personal blog purposes.

WordPress (Self-Hosted) is better by a Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide margin.

wordpress is free too unless you want to go for paid option which is still very cheap
