hi guys, as the title say what is better blogspot or WP ?
Better for what? what's your purpose?
WP much more PRO
Wordpress gives you so many options so its the best choice.
Blogger for quick link indexing (in other blogger blogs comments). WP for a better, more customizable site.
I like blogspot than wordpress.
Wordpress all the way, its customisability is unmatchable
Of course WP!! There's no question. I also wondered this quite a while ago and learned that WP >>>>> Blogger, trust me. Just go with WordPress.
Obviously Wordpress is much more than blogspot.
i think wordpress (self hosted) is better choice than blogger. As blogger generally is not your own blog its of google. And at wordpress customization and flexibility is very good. Also blogger platform sites doesnt looks good.
I personally do not like BlogSpot. I have never been a fan of it. I do like WP though so that Is the one that I would say.
Wordpress allows you access to a world of plugins, many free of cost because the originater wants to upgrade you at a later stage.
But you still get most of the benefits.
Security, optimisation, contact forms etc all easily installable
Definitely self-hosted WordPress (wordpress.org) is better. I had some of my blogspot blogs banned. This cannot happen to you with WordPress on your own domain.
WordPress since it offers a lot of features and can be easily customized.
Wordpress can be customized to look like a professional business site with ease.
With question like this you cant get valid answer, you need to put more effort into explaining. Both platforms can make you money, both platforms can produce good looking, fast, responsive website etc....Both platforms can get you banned in no time if you are pushing your luck with them...no black and white answers here - explain your intentions and you will receive good answers, best suggestions at least..
Blogger and WP can serve different purposes, so it's unfair to compare them to a large extent. People may choose blogspot to save money (or if they don't have it), or to test out a niche, or to build their SEO skills. People using WP may need the widest possible range of options and plug-in features to accomplish their goals.
Many coders have closed the gap between great looking WP themes and great looking Blogger templates, so one can put a professional and modern blog together using either platform. I have over 100 blogspots running for years, none of which have been banned, so that problem is overblown if you take the time to create the blogs carefully.
Wordpress.org [Self-Hosted] not wordpress.com
Is it really worth having a blog these days on the back end of a niche website.
