I think it is not a good idea to keep your all eggs in busket. So you should search for other income sources for your blog. Only amazon affiliate sites are rare nowadays. Its not just it is tough to rank better, amazon commission is also not good nowadays.

its very very difficult as google mostly ranks top tier sites in place of affiliate ones.
I have myself tracked and seen many affiliate sites of some niches get replaced by huge authority sites

I had a few of those product review sites back then. They eventually got too difficult to maintain traffic for, especially with all the changes. The effort vs. reward just wasn't there anymore compared to other endeavors. It takes a different kind of site now to thrive in that niche, focusing on deep content and real authority.
