Earlier their used to be flood of blogs based on amazon affiliate. But now such blogs are hard to come by on google search ? Did you own one such blog ? What happened to it ?

Amazon affiliate blogs are not completely dead, but Google ranks them lower now.
From my analysis, Google prefers high-authority and trusted sites. If you can find keyword gaps that big sites haven’t covered well, there’s still an opportunity, otherwise, you’ll need to build a high-authority site.
There are still many opportunities you can use to make money from amazon affiliate marketing and lot of people doing the same.

Amazon affiliate blogs still work, but competition and seo rules make them harder to rank now.

Google ranks them lower thus they are harder to come by. It's difficult to rank a blog based on Amazon affiliate right now.

Whether Amazon Affiliate works or not depends on the niche and the competition, but it’s quite tough for a fresh domain.

I'm converting my blogs over to IWAs using joomla and a custom interactive web application plugin. Blogs have no future, unless its on a place like tumblr, or substack with an actual audiance infrastructure. People prefer to talk to chat bots if they want info now, its not just bhw members that are fluent in chatgpt! lol its the general consumer now. With an IWA, you can have a fun viral site, and embed more targedted ad links with it. Gamify your blog, and have people remember it and come back to play & or learn from the new updates every so often.

If it still fine in seo and traffic sources, it will be fine in affiliate and ads ..

Amazon affiliate blogs still work, but still work, but only if you focus on quality reviews, niche authority, and valuable content - thin content won't rank anymore.

They’re not completely dead, but they’ve definitely declined. Google’s algorithm updates, lower Amazon commissions, and competition from big sites have pushed most affiliate blogs out of the spotlight. I had one—it did okay for a while but lost traffic after the updates.

They’re not completely dead, but after recent updates, it’s much harder to rank them without strong authority and unique content. Most are shifting to broader niche sites instead of pure Amazon affiliate blogs.

They are not dead, just tougher. Success now needs quality, content, trust and a broader niche strategy.
