Blogging platforms - wordpress.com or ghost.org?

Which one is better ghost-org or wordpress-com (do not confuse with wordpress-ORG)?

I understand ghost.org started as an alternative to "heavy" wordpress.org about 2 years ago. Wordpress guys realised that it is a competitor / an opportunity / a market and they created similar paid platform - wordpress-com.

Anyone had experience with both? Ever switched from one to another? Please only respond if you have used at least one of them.
