is blogging the content of other sites until one gains enough traffic, then post whatever one likes is it ideal to do this ? is there any repurcussions for doing so ?


also whats a good source to get Massive amount of traffic to a user generated entertainment site????

It's not a good idea!
Google will never rank your site this way!
 
While it's possible to rank like this, it's not advised as the content you would be pilfering is not only copyrighted (meaning I would sue you or file a DMCA report if I ever found out you stole my content), but search engines can usually tell which one was posted first.

Of course, you can always spin the articles and use your own images to get around this conundrum.

i would take the above into consideration, spinning is good. thnx.

its an entertainment site and we add the source on the bottom of every page. I've seen other sites do the same. am i still safe doing this ?
 
I also in support of spinning, but keep in mind that after spinning it is necessary to edit your content.
 
Mentioning sources at the bottom of the every article is really a good option, but I don't think it will be 100% safe.

Spinning the article is a must when it comes to copying the articles from other sites.
 
Please eloborate what does the hammer mean ? ban me from adsense?
 
Are you seriously still asking about copying? :/ This isn't wise at all. By now you should know that unique content is king. And the ban hammer means you won't be able to get your site on Google, you may as well go get a day job at Walmart. :/
 
Copying others' content will not get your site indexed in search engines
 
Copying content is not safe but you can use spun contents for your blog. Make sure that you have edited the content manually and plagiarism free. It would be safe for your site.
