Blogging in 2023?

I'll do everything on my own bro, I'm sorry.
But it's not that hard to start a blog, reading is the key. Gain information from here and online and it will be easy. Just spend your time well.

WordPress, (fast) theme from eg. themeforest, not to much plugin's because they slow down your site, a good SEO plugin, and most important GOOD CONTENT. But as you said, I love writing. So that will not be a problem.

Start a blog about something you love, or a hobby. Then is will be a lot easier to put effort in it.

If you need have a question about WP. Feel free to ask.

All the best mate.
Thanks for advice. One question : when you start instagram account, how much it'll take to see if people are interested in this niche or in that.

Depends on how much time and effort you spend. Ofcourse you first need to set up your profile and place some good content. Then you can manually follow targeted accounts. If there are lots of accounts that follow back and your engagement is right, then you can go on.
Minimum of 21 days I will say.

Great, I'll follow that, 3 or 4 months should be enough to see if the blog is going up or down.

Blogging is hard in 2023 but not dead. This means for many, blogging is not profitable as it was previously but some people are still making good bucks.

Stop blindly believing in what certain members say, until recently Sartre was another God in the forum, Jr Vip Exec and a wise savant of all the secrets of humanity...come on, it's just another thread giving an opinion, if you disagree (it seems so, because you are creating a thread to have the courage to invest in a blog), just go ahead!!

Well that's motivational, but I'm not listening to anyone just for listening, I analyze what they say, if they gave a good arguments, I'll keep that in mind, otherwise it didn't stick to memory, when it comes to blogging, @splishsplash have a good guides since 2015, the man is not just throwing words just like that, he has advanced guide and he explain everything why he've done it or why you shouldn't, I don't think he's winning something behind his affirmation, also he didn't that blogging is dead, but he said it's harsh to start it in 2023, for people who have blogs since 2012 or more, they still making money till this day, but to start one is hard.
2/ if you still think that blogging is not hard as he say, I've some challenging question for you.
Every niche has blogs mastering it, those blogs are earning at least some passive income that they can invest in SEO TOOLS (semrush, ahref, moz...), how can you overcome theses guys when you don't have money or either experience.

There are tons of low-comp keywords which are easier to rank and will still bring 1000s of visitors on your website. It is very naive to say that blogging will be dead. Yes, you need to be smart and it might not be as easy as say 5-10 years back(courtesy of the AI and SM explosion) but it still is very much a money making machine. Wish you luck!

Hi, I saw a thread posted by @splishsplash earlier saying that making money through a blog is dying slowly and if you want to make money, you need to go through another way. is that right ?

Please note that I'm not looking for an easy way and I'm a workaholic person so I need only rich field and I'll make my way through it.
In 2023, the blogging landscape is evolving. While traditional monetization methods may face challenges, adapting to new strategies and focusing on a rich niche can still pave the way for success.

Blogging is good idea TBH, now more strategy (AI, chat gpt) make it much comfortable, SEO is overcome very well from all those

Blogging in 2023 is still as profitable as ever. It takes at least 6–12 months to start making money from blogs, and it can extend if you desire to make a significant income. To make good money from blogging, you have to choose a creative niche with the right target audience and quality content.

Hi, can you elaborate on below?
traditional monetization methods may face challenges

Blogging is very much still profitable. Most newbies just don't know how to go about it, for instance you need to target keywords and also satisfy search intent if you wish to receive traffic from the serps.

Blogging is good idea as always, even after AI & Chat GBT came its some how easy as well. Go with AI tools & start it today
AI killed some genuine bloggers morally. I have heard someone say he lost clients because of AI.

Most of the blogs uses mostly text as their medium or give emphasis to a specific type of media in their contents, for example , a blog uses mostly video or infographics, in most of the cases they give little attention to other types of medium, that is , text. So, one can try using balanced utilization of all types medium, text, pics, videos, graphics, etc. Which means a lot of hard work as the market has become highly saturated, its also very hard to find low competition niches.

Unfortunately, making 50 dollars a day through freelancing versus making 50 dollars a day through blogging is like comparing a leisurely walk in the hills to climbing K2.

My personal experience: i am not very good at SEO, however i am pretty good at web design. I also have very good knowledge about my niche: I write very long articles (+1700 words) and i am able to write about topics in very detailed ways and that helped me a lot. For me, web design is an hobby (self-made website) so i spent no money in order to build the website (same for the articles, since i am passionate about writing). After 6 months of blogging i am making about 0,3 usd per day from ADS. Should i invest in SEO? Probably, but as of today i am not going to spend my savings to invest in seo: i want to understand what am i doing by my-self, as i did for writing and web design. I believe spending "time" instead of "money" until you are not 100% sure is a great idea.

However, i know a lot of freelance Web designers passionate about blogging: they prefer working for customers instead of working at their own projects. Freelancing beats blogging as i said (if you are able to find customers). The only reason why i am not freelancing is because i am not able to find customers so i want to "recycle" my knowledge by blogging and writing, wich is my passion.

Blogging is still very profitable if you pick the right niche and optimize it according to the latest Google trends.
We have some blogs in the health-care niche and at the end of the year people renew their life insurance and it's very profitable to put some blackhat juice to rank them above others.

Blogging is universal. BART and ChatGPT don't fulfills all requirements of writing an article or blog in terms of SEO.

Blogging is very profitable. Do your research before choosing a topic or niche.

Well, I hope it works. Started my blog 4 months ago and get 500-700 pageviews per month. Steadily growing. Hope I get into mediavine at the 12-month mark. Also, working on my social media profiles too!
