A lot has happened in the blogging world since the beginning of the blogging game.
The dawn of AI has given a lot of people the impression that creating content has never been easier.
But this has never been the question.
Creating content has always been easy because creating bad content doesn't take much effort.
It doesn't take much money either.
But as you probably already know, since Google is also using AI and machine learning, beating Google in its own game has become harder and harder with every passing month.
If you don't believe me, just look at the SEO subforums of this forum and pay close attention to the people crying.
It seems that every single day, there are people posting of their website traffic crashing hard.
They are not outliers.
They are not anomalies.
This is part of the game because as you know, if you want to be a successful blogger, you have to focus on delivering value.
And this is what the biggest challenge is for a lot of online entrepreneurs.
They want a shortcut.
They don't want to deliver value.
Instead, they want to focus on the latest and greatest tool or toy to trick Google.
And guess what!
Google is smarter and smarter in defeating such schemes.
If there's any one piece of advice that I can give people when it comes to blogging in 2023 or 2024 for that matter, it is this.
Pay attention to the needs of the people you're trying to reach.
In other words, take care of your audience, and Google will take care of you.
By making sure that you publish content that people are actually searching for and solving their problems and delivering value into their lives, Google will treat you like an ally instead of an enemy.
That's the bottom line!
Unfortunately, a lot of people look at the SEO game as some sort of scheme to somehow defraud Google or cheat it, and that's why they eventually get punished.
If you're tired of building an empire only to see it vaporize in front of you, focus on quality.
This means actively monitoring how people actually interact with your content, making your content as easy to process as possible, and most importantly, delivering solid value.
Put yourself in the shoes of the person you expect to read your content and act accordingly.
