Signup with Feedburner and create a feed for your website. Copy the code and insert it into your theme. Done.... You don't have to deal with anything else other then these.

Try feedburner, they're supported by google.

Google purchased Feedburner long back.

You can use MailChimp; they allow up to 2000 subscribers for free. Or, you can use Aweber. Or, you try one of the email capturing scripts.

why purchase mailchimp or aweber if you can get the same functionality with Feedburner which is FREE.

I used FeedBurner thanks :D

It's called, "Different strokes for different folks!" Some people prefer Aweber over Feedburner. Others prefer Feedburner over a paid service. And still others prefer to run/own their own email capturing client. Hence, what's good for the goose might not necessarily be good for the gander.

The OP got a bevy of choices and made his decision, so everyone is all happy!!!

No hard feelings. The OP asked a question about email subscribers and i gave him the general information as i don't know what kind of website he has.

I completely agree with you most of them prefer Aweber over Feedburner because they want to have a free control on their email list. Aweber, mailchimp, getresponse are good services to manage your email list.

BTW for general blogs i use only Feedburner.
