blogger autoblog: anyone doing this anymore?

hi,

i just landed a deal offline. a friend of a friend wants to have a blogspot blog to promote her honda dealership. i'm planning to make an autoblog on blogspot.com and scrape latest news on honda locally, and get traffic via FB ads.

i've looked around and so far autoblog samurai seems like a good option, but the threads about that software are ancient (2010). anyone doing blogger autoblogs anymore? pls share your experience here.

and what other alternatives are there besides autoblog samurai?

erm, do either of those suggestions work with blogspot blogger blogs?

Please correct me if I am wrong, but neither of those do.

I also would like to know the best current Blogspot automator if there is anything publicly available.

thanks a lot guys, for the valuable info. i forgot i started this thread, so in the end i got a copy of auto blog samurai (you can find it here in bhw) and it works well for what i need.

i just get feeds and put them through fivefilters and post to the blog. i don't really need full automation so this does the job for now.

i'll try the suggestions posted here. bookmarked this thread for future ref. much appreciated!

you mean the website? i don't. i get paid to generate leads for a local honda dealership. so that means i can use dupe content as much as i want.

anyway, i have another question regarding autoblogs. i use wp-o-matic to scrape content for another autoblog that i'm doing. everything's good, except that the posts don't show any images for the thumbnail. how do i get this to work?

i mean, i could just download the image and host it from wordpress, but is there a way to automate it? thanks guys.

This worked fine for me in combination with WP-o-matic.

I am not against autoblogging but discourages you from utilizing. While you may say I am impractical as autoblogging allows various sources of content to be pulled together, an inevitable fact of plagarism, copywriting cannot be replaced.

Here are some tools that may aid you,
WP-O-Matic : Some basic configurations and it works well. Note that not all all sources may be duplicated
WP Robot : Heard it is good

have you tried "AutoBlogger" , its a WP plugin (Paid), but well worth the money ...
 
I think autoblogger and Wp robot are helpful in this regard.
 
I used to do autoblogs, I also use a lot of programs to keep my blogs updated, but I already lost it on doing other projects.
 
Wprobot is the best. But no idea if you need to automate blogger/blogspot.
