Blogengine Comment Links Question

I was blog commenting and came across a blogengine blog that has backlinks placed in the name field of the comment form somehow.

There is no website or url field on the comment form.

Any html of bb code does not work...

Can see where others tried and failed all over the page...

Anyone have any hints, this one is driving me crazy

Providing a URL would be a nice start ...

The name is always where the website link goes, meaning when you click on the name it takes you to the website that they filled out in the form. If you said there's no website form then it was probably removed at one point. If that's what your talking about anyway.

Its not turned off, has been given to me as a challenge...

I can see where others have failed and tried... yet some succeed.

It is a special type of comment link. Not turned off, comment form looks like this...

Register in the plain vanilla way and then, once registered, alter your profile information in a sneaky blackhat way that the site doesn't check since you're already properly registered?

There is no place to register, I have done this before, but I just cant remember.

ok, I have now had a time limit put on it, so here is the deal...

this site has a lot of good high pr pages, including a couple of sevens.

Im working on a way to find more like it.

Because this type of blog is very valuable to my clients.

because the trick is so weird to get it to work, I cant remember how I did it.

Whoever can get me the info and let me post one link to prove a point to a potential client will get to have full access to this nice linksource...

about 70 pages of pure magical link fun...

There is no such thing as the d0follow tag, and it is ignored by Google. Adding it just makes you look suspicious.

To find more blogs like that one, just run backlink profiles on some of the other spammers who have left their link on the site. Use http://www.backlinkwatch.com to generate the link reports.

No, I seriously laughed my ass off when I saw that.

And there must be a lot of people trying that out from all the ones I saw...

Most of the time I can size up if it takes html of bbcode by looking at others mistakes.

This has both, and weird stuff around it everywhere that people have tried.

I got their trails from there. This is Identical to all the other blogengine blogs except that it has no url field in the comment form, yet there are a select few who know how to pull it off...





Seems to be a really valuable in some ways, because not many people can spam it with outbound links.

But in another way, I dont need PR trophies. I need results...



I came across it just blew my mind.

I know it takes BB Code to put in the link, I am not that good at looking at page source yet, but I could tell that from looking at it.

Hmmm..I think maybe the blog owner is playing a joke..
