there is no trust in business (I know this first hand as my father has owned several companies over the last 40 years, so I got to meet many of his business partners, colleagues, etc. and they're all round and slippery like shiny metal beads, you never know how to deal with them or what to catch them by, most of them only live, think and breathe profits and they smell money and opportunities from the other side of the galaxy)...

And google is a business, so trust doesn't mean anything to / for them, they only invoke trust in order to keep us - the plebes - obedient and naive so they can rip us off or - as is the case with these big american tech giants - to milk us of our data so they can monetize it behind our backs and without our consent (without us seeing a single cent in return of course, because - and that's something I forgot to mention - business people also don't do charity either, and if they ever seem to do charity you should look carefully into the reason why they've done it as business people usually hate donations - in their peanut brains - means losing money without getting anything in return, and they hate it)

So anyway, google will happily take from you, and use whatever data you give them, but this doesn't mean they are going to trust your site more. At the first opportunity to make more money and concentrate more power into their hands they will have no problems replacing your legit, honest site with the site of a rapist or war criminal, they'll have no care or remorse in doing it. So, don't stress yourself with winning google's trust because the concept of trust is alien to companies, they operate with notions and based on principles that are not common to human beings, their entire brains are operating with numbers, profits, opportunities, ROI, and the alikes...

So, don't list any sources (or any data) about you, your business, it will serve you no purpose. Just go the standard SEO route (publish quality content, build links, keep user engagement high, etc) but don't give your personal and professional data to google, they have no business knowing anything about anyone. Not even the governments know about us as much as this random american company does, and it's not right on many levels (moral being the 1st and most important one of them)

I went on a big of a rant, sorry! But it was needed so I can make my points clear, which are:

1) trust is a concept that business people put no value on, so there's no reason to believe that google will trust you (a random nobody to them)
2) even if you provide them with all of the data they need to rank you higher, when someone pays them more they'll have no problem throwing out of the SERPs :)

Google isn’t looking to trust you, they just want you to provide high-quality and precise content to their users.

You do not need to add research sources under your blog for Google rankings, but it can help indirectly. Adding reputable sources (with nofollow links) makes your content more credible, builds trust with readers, and aligns with Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines. If you include sources, ensure they are high quality and relevant to enhance your contents value.
