I do 500-1000 words, but Yoast says that over 300 is alright

I go for 400-1000 word posts and try to diversify the lenght of posts within one website.

In my opinion,the normal length of blog post can is 500-700 words.You can also use more words but be clear with the thoughts you are going to convey.
Based on the niche the usage of words will be differed.
