Blog comments spammy?

Find the top ten or twenty blogs in your niche, all authority sites. Create a profile on each site, regularly read the blog posts and take time to become part of the blog community by leaving relevant, lengthy comments on each post. You don't have to do this every day. Just go by once or twice a week to each blog and read what's new and make comments then. By taking time to become part of the other person's blog community and leave relevant comments, there's no way anyone would consider that spam.

Look, even Matt Cutts posts blog comments on relevant sites. Just search, 'are all comments with links spam' on Youtue and you will find a great video by Matt Cutts where he admits to posting blog comments for himself. [h=1][/h]
Like he said, just leave your name on the blog comment, rather than your keyword. Make sure you have something relevant to say. And, diversify your backlinking practices. Don't only use blog comments. Anyway, find the video and watch and it will make more sense.

bog comments used to work well. But google tightened up on these
So scrapebox etc is not as effective anymore
do not use blog comments fro your money sites.

Agree with you. hey OP you can follow this instruction.

Don't build links on open platforms that can be spammed to death. Blog comments that maintain low obl before closing to further commenting should be fine.

I think it's a bad idea to link it directly back to your site
instead, for me anyways, blog post (manually), i link it to my Tier1 sites.

I got personal advise from a google search quality engineer to don't use blog comments at all. Even if some blog comments still pass juice today, tomorrow you can end up in the google jail . There are so many other ways to create high-quality backlinks so better stay on the safe side.
