Blog Commenting

It's a good way to create backlinks, yes. But, I think you want to know if it will give a good benefit to the websites. It depends on the websites you comment on mostly. If you are posting on a high traffic page with manually approved comments, you could see a big benefit from traffic and increased page authority. If it's a spammed blog page, you will probably not see much benefit in boosting your website up anywhere, but it can help index your website, so people mostly use it on their Web 2.0 sites to make sure Google indexes them and they have some authority.

Thanks for the reply, What if all the backlinks come from no-follow referrals.

There have been a lot of tests and a lot of different opinions. I think Google is smart enough to still give some benefit to no-follow links in some way. It also looks more natural to have a mix of do-follow and no-follow links in your overall link strategy. The no-follow links will also be able to get real visitors if they are on high quality pages.

It does directly help you to create the Backlinks.but it helps you to create a relationship with other bloggers.so it is a good way for building Backlinks.you can also analyze your competitors ans see how they are building their own Backlinks.

google indexing and ranking aside,
if you write quality comments, you might attract new visitors and followers...

Most of the people statred to read the comment too. so high chances of getting beneficial in terms of traffic. commenting will do good.

Only if it accompanied by a thoughtful comment. Spam comments get deleted anyway, and a spam comment on an already spammed site is worthless.

Depends, if you do it just for links and you post crappy comments then it's not good.

It's a good SEO oriented tweak actually. Blog comments are effective when posted under sites of same/related niche and must have a reasonable level of organic entries. When done in a proper manner, PA could improve with time.

It is good but it should be just one small part of it. Your main way should still be organic links, guest posts etc

I find that creating backlinks is always a good option. Now, be careful with this option as we are unaware of what exactly you would like to accomplish. If you are not natural in your comments, then people will find you annoying

As most people have said yes its a good way of creating link, just make sure you use quality sites, are related to your niche and you add value with your comment ( dont be spammy and just drop the link)

It's still a good way to diversify your link profile and anchor cloud. Though 99% of links are nofollow also it creates a balance between the following ratio. Try to be natural and create value while commenting.
