Blog Bounce Rate

Hi guys, i've a question

I've a Twitter account with a good amount of followers but i avoid to promote my blog on it because when i do, bounce rate skyrock from 60-65% to 85-90%

I'm not afraid of ranking but of any earnings drop due to the bounce rate

So the question is: Bounce Rate effects only Google Rank or also Adsense Earnings?

It affects your AdSense earnings in a way, that most of those bounced visitors are not clicking on your ads. It shouldn't have any effect on other visitors who come to your site via other sources.

Bounce rate does not influence your rank directly Google has confirmed that. However as far as I know the higher the Page session time the better the CTR %. You can also try some A/B tests too see if you can decrease the Bounce rate. For that you can use Google Optimize its free and pretty simple to setup.
