now the civilization has moved to internet and almost everything is being managed using internet take a recent example of facebook and cambridge analytica .

Yeah my local grocery store is totally white hat as well. Like I said this is comparing apples and oranges. For every Amazon and Google there are literally tens of thousands of companies that fail. Do you know what is "survival bias"? Go read.
Not to mention that there is NO SUCH thing like White Hat (off page) SEO. You either link build (regardless of how exactly - any link that is unnatural is black hat) or you don't. If you build links in ANY way - thats black hat. Dont believe me? Let me quote Google guidelines for you:
"Any links intended to manipulate PageRank or a site's ranking in Google search results may be considered part of a link scheme and a violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines."
Now tell me how exactly you are going to rank with "white hat" lets say gambling/forex/pharma/adult affiliate without building links?
Oh well when I say whitehat, I mean something like offering better customer service or better products or cheaper price that help attracts people to your brand and thus boosting your website rank in the end as well

And which customers you are going to serve better when your website is at page 65 and you have 0 visitors? How exactly a dude with $100 monthly budget is going to make it "white hat"? Sure I can offer better prices and services and make it in the end, but most of the people doesn't have investor money to burn for a decade, before becoming a multi million business.
By advertising it offline and in social media (it is possible to do it with zero budget)
