A lot of our customers can attest to the fact that while our products certainly have a strong black hat leaning, much of what we focus on are new approaches to thinking about business online. Thinking extends beyond hat color. White hats are certainly welcome to apply.

Right, but you didn't submit your full application until about 10.5 hours ago. Please be patient. We've had a massive response and want to be as fair about this as we possibly can be.

Signed up; quick question though, even if we don't "make the cut" so to speak, will we be notified of this, or are you only going to contact successful applicants?
 
Just signed up. Hope I get picked. Are you looking for people all over the world or mostly in the US and the UK? Also maybe you should put a question asking if the person has good English as that can be very important in communication between beta testers and product owners. I was once on a beta testing team and half the testers didn't know English well and I had a horrible time working with them.
 
The way that we are looking at this is that all people that apply are qualified applicants. We think of it this way because our customer base isn't best represented by any single demographic set. We are definitely looking globally. We're hoping to run one or two tests every month from here on out and we'll be looking at a whole new set of variables when performing tester selections.

More updates soon. No candidates have been contacted yet about the first beta test. I'll make a post here as well as to the mailing list when that selection process has begun.
