Anyone notice how all winners agree with many (if not all) of these points?

Take Robert Kiyosaki, for example. His book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" has been on the NY times bestseller list longer than any other book in history. He was turned down by many publishers who declared that the book would NEVER sell. To date, his series of Rich Dad books has sold over 28 million copies.

Keep in mind that he failed english in high school - TWICE.

What does this tell you about the current educational system? It's designed to create losers, not winners. Personally, I think its one of the biggest frauds to ever be commited against the common man.

And what does Robert constantly bring up in his books and other teachings that DiamondDave just mentioned?

FOCUS - Follow One Course Until Successful. Don't diversify! Focus!

Write down your plan! Winners think on paper!

Robert is an advocate of these wisdoms, the kind of wisdoms that demand DISCIPLINE, along with many other highly successful people such as Donald Trump, Steve Jobs, Rod Stewart, Steve Forbes, and the list goes on and on.

I'll close with a quote from one of the most brillant entrepreneurs of our time:

This is such a great site. The more I look around the deeper it gets! I wish I had found this site a long time ago. Most subjects about IM are discussed, you have motivational threads like this one and you usually get both side of everything you read about. Truly Great! Thanks!

If you believe you can achieve something you will achieve it. I found it to be true on so many occasions.

Oh and another one ACT NOW, no one ever got rich (or whatever your goal may be) by doing nothing, when you act the world has a way of helping you.
 
I've been living my life under these guideline since I was 18, when I decided to make a life list of all the things I wanted before I died. A good friend of mine died and I wanted to give myself a little hope for the future.

I can say that I've gotten everything on that list except for one thing and I am working on that now.

People often ask me, "What are you going to do when your list is done?" and I always laugh and say "Well, I'll have to make another one!."

From a different perspective, Edison can be likened to Google today while you and me are the Telsa's. We do all of the work and they monopolize all the profits using yours and my hard earned money,getting fatter by the seconds and at the same time punishing you and me by stealing from us with their written rules only meant to keep us ever dependent on their ever growing greed.

To an earlier post that suggested that nobody makes 1K -100K day online, I will say this --go research how much Google cash in per second of the clock and that hypothesis/assumption will be done away with for ever--

But eventually, The Mighty shall always one day fall,crumble and perish and and the prudent that continues to endure and persevere having others interests in mind, will continue to strive and wax on stronger

Mine to all of us here is to ALWAYS KEEP ON KEEPING ON and we shall definitely overcome. For the knowledge of the assumed foolish ones will always be used to shame the so called wise ones.

You can learn through yourself.Trust yourself that you can do it.It takes time to earn money and be successful in this industry.You feel worst because you're not enjoying what you are doing.

1. Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life
I always know that anything result/experience is because of ME. That's just standard where I'm coming from.

2. Live Your Life On Purpose
I sit infront of my pc day-in, day-out, learning, working, building, updating... etc.

3. Be Willing to Pay the Price
I've always paid a hefty price, gone without food, without sleep, without a social life,...

4. Stay Focused
Focus is my middle name. I used to meditate as a kid, so this is simple for me.

5. Become An Expert in Your Field
Some or should I say a lot of family, friends, acquaintences seek me out for *advice*... I can't be bothered sometimes...

6. Write Out a Plan for Achieving Your Goals
This one for me is the best as I've had good results, BUT, it's keeping this one going that eludes me.

7. Never Give Up
I don't think I have, I've always maintained my aim and still *working* on it... wanted to give up many times but find myself back on the 'treadmill' of my dreams.

8. Don?t Delay
Now this one is a bit tricky. I take action straight away, and then put it aside for a bit... a bit longer... and I'm onto something else... pah!

Maybe I need a mentor to guide me, or a good woman behind me. :-)

Sorry for the long ramble/post.

YOu need some good friends who are into the same shit as you

someone you can throw ideas at and when your down or messed up with some ban, u can look over your shoulder and feel motivated that they may just make bank before you.

get some BHW buddies, preferable ones that live close to you...

Hi, going along with this here's another story;

A CEO of a certain company was quiet and did not make grand-gestures or lots of fuss about his achievements. He openly acknowledged that he did not know all the facets of his business and because of this, some people thought he was not the right person for the job.

Certainly, the local press magnified any mistake (No matter how small) into front page news and because of this, other people in the business began to question their CEO.

Growing tired of explaining himself to the local population and employees of the company the CEO went to the press and said

"I will answer any question you ask of me, come to my office tomorrow and I will hold an open press conference"

The local press could not believe their luck and the next day his office was buzzing with excitement.

In walked the CEO, he acknowledged the crowd, sat down at his desk and ... pulled out his phone.

For the next hour, he answered any and every question hurled at him by the assembled crowd by simply making a phone call.

The message was clear, whilst it is important to have information, it is more important to know how to get information.

Invest your own time wisely and outsource what you cannot do; Never has this concept been more relevant then now :)
