Hey DiamondDave,

Thanks for posting this (so long ago, but STILL relevant).

Whilst I was aware of the individual "steps" it is good to see them all together as one "process".

My biggest "challenge" in the IM feild has been of "Analysis Paralysis" ~ reading too much & not doing anything with the great knowledge I've gained :eek:

I am now going to adopt Nikes' slogan ......

Just Do It !​

I'm super new to all this and sometime learning all of this seems slightly overwhelming.
But I am just keeping at it and this forum helps me to learn new things everyday.

I needed to re read athis topic again today. I have been learning about this world and have recently had a setback...Since I am a little gullible, I hired people (another site) to do some work for me, and now realize that I wasted my time and money as they are not going to do the work. This was a real downer as I was depending on them to get the ball rolling. While I was feeling sorry for myself, I saw a post from someone who is a member here. I followed the link and started reading. This was one of the first topics that I read.

It is nice to know that I am not alone, in making mistakes, or starting over again. A little wiser and much more aware.
 
Very good post. As a follow up - I'd suggest everyone (aside from my competitors) read "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. This book was written in 1937 and is still the best selling success book of all time. This is not a plug - go buy the book from Amazon used for $7 and see what you think.

edison was nothing compared to teslar, he invented the low powered light bulb and alternative power, including wireless electroicty

Good information. I wish I was able to follow everything is saying in the article.
 
The real ppl who are successful are the ones that know that and don't have to read it though..
 
the most painfull part about giving UP that happens is when you were trying for years years and years and you went trough blood sweat and tears with a few other people..but u gave up and quit..
and i a period of time u find out the others made it ..and made it big...
a situation like this u can never forgive yourself... so yeah NEVER GIVE UP!
