I believe black hat seo, since white hat seo techniques are such that it may not suit the niche of your site.

White hat not exist if you read the Google guidelines

It's really just a scam when you label things as whitehat and blackhat - what's whitehat can be blackhat the next day, and vice versa. G is always shifting the goal post all the time, so what you're thinking whitehat today, may be blackhat tomorrow.
Best practices would be much more reliable - you enforce best practices, and mix blackhat techniques that are still working, and you should be able to reap the benefits from that.
