Blackhat is not illegal

Wait wasn't one of the most brilliant EW'ing techniques written by.....oh nevermind, lets do away with such filth!

we all need to stop e-whoring right away .. all of you . you could end up in jail

i dont get it. wouldnt 90% of the shit on this forum be considered "fraud".

you send bh traffic to cpa network on an email submit. its iframed, etc...

cpa network pays you $x to send a legit, opt in email. however, you supply an email on someone who was tricked into thinking it was something else. now you're committing "fraud" on the cpa network. they haven't caught you, you get paid, and the advertiser is stuck with a shitty email list.

i guess "fraud" only matters when money is involved, like with ewhoring. but i just dont see the difference in ewhoring and fucking over a cpa network...

Framing email submits is fraud as well (user is signing up for something he/she doesn't want/know about). In exchange the advertisers shave a large % of leads so that they still make a good profit.. thats why most people sending targetted traffic would rather choose high paying offers than email submits. Fraud turns to BH when you start PPC-campaigns for good traffic and staying under the radar (imho).

Adsensepayback... what you think about it? Its ilegal?

Ive sell to other people adsensepayback and they pay a big money because i give them a FTP host, a tutorial and a fully support by msn, and help them by teamviewer.

Ive told them all to not get banned, but some people do not do what i said, and all got banned at the same time, know they have my private information like name and home address. Some people not got banned, and will receive the money.

What they can do? I offered all the things that i said, more than this, ive teach them! Is they fault...

Interesting how I and other people made posts like this in the past stating quite clearly that blackhat is not scamming, you can even see in the banner that it says blackhat SEO FORUM. What happens? People thank this post? WHY? Because it was posted by a mod? Come on guys. It is obvious you are sucking up. I am stating the obvious, I know. It shows you what effect "guru" status can have when you post the same information that has been said many times before :)

The problem is both "White Hat" and "Black Hat" are very subjective terms and the definition of either will vary depending on who you're asking.

In regards to SEO, I use plenty of methods that some people might consider to be "Black Hat", however, I do have some rules.

I will never do anything illegal nor will I ever sabotage anyones business. Apart from that, I'll go after links in just about anyway I can. (With a few possible exceptions)

When the man is after your ass, he will get your ass. Seriously, there is a game that prosecutors play. Pick a squeaky clean public figure, and work out what you can charge him with. There is always something. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has not broken a law they can be charged with.

Now, what stops the Feds from hauling everyone to jail. Well, it is not in the public interest. That said, every so often, an overzealous public prosecutor or politician comes along, and the net drops.

If you are caught up in it, you are fucked. Unless you can lawyer-up pretty quickly, and big time, you are fucked. There are so many things you could be charged with, and even if you eventually make them all go away, you are totally inconvenienced and maybe even bankrupted.

So many ewhores talk about reading the T&Cs for their victims. How many ewhores have read AND understood the T&Cs for the networks they are ewhoring for. Read one once where the network said that they can pass on any and all expenses for any legal action brought upon them back to the ewhore. And trust me, the networks will have better lawyers than you. YMMV.

Is the potential hassle worth the money you make? You decide.

Back to the OP. I really do not blame the forum for the clampdown. In many ways, it is like nightclubs and drugs. Clubs know drugs happen on the premises. However they cannot be seen to be turning a blind eye to blatant dealing and taking of drugs. So, they enforce a zero tolerance policy. This semblence of propriety keeps everyone, including the cops happy.

Dude, not diss'ing your very true words from the rest of your post - but I do challenge the ones I saved above.

In every nightclub in the world where and when I wanted drugs, it was the bouncer/security that I asked and got them from. It is the security that deals (and so controls the local franchise).

Now, what does that tell you about the OP?

The proof will be when I get banned for what I have just written.

First off the power of the feds and DOJ is huge ...
second yes they may take years building cases but all that posted is on a record somewhere that is why the net can be so unforgiving.

I have been doing SEO work for about 14 years.

I did own top spots for gambling related keywords for years and I did watch Feds and DOJ step in and shut down paid gambling listings in Google, Overture, Yahoo and most others as well I watched them threaten and make Paypal quit taking gambling transactionswhich made them bank. I also had accounts frozen at neteller and saw them driven out of the states .... Neteller processed the largest amount of transactions at the time. Department of Justice called the 2 founders that were not US citizens to the US to sign some bank papers under the guise of a bank and then put the guys in jail ... Hence Neteller will not process cards of US Citizens etc ...

You are talking billions not millions in money ... Now if they are afraid then the owner here taking precautions is just common sense and should be applauded whole heartedly. Would you rather lose your forum ? Does bhw make the money that Neteller did ? No Frickin way so why even think of risking losing there forum. Not to belittle this business but it is small beans and if there was a warning shot fired the best possible thing to do is get on with legal though grey areas and leave the BS behind.

Most affiliates with the sports books I knew either left the industry or moved to Canada or Costa rica. I knew a lot of affiliates most of them hid under there beds shaking in fear or ran to a new affiliate marketing plan ...

This is my first post but to any idiots wanting these people to risk there venture for your measly benefit go away because if something happened you would be the first to run anyway. I will post again when I see good reason, this is a great forum for seo but seo is not Illegal, it is not a scam ... and it is us against the machine .

Illegal activities and scams are what makes it harder on us that just manipulate the algos for a benefit when others lump us in with criminal activity.

shute . i just came up with an awesome idea .. as i got a friggin awesome bot builder in my hands atm... ..

but i think its too blackhat .. as it would infect a downloaders computer with a bot u build (easy to setup) .. and it runs in the background .. and clicks on links u provieded on the victims comp..

thats too blackhat .. right ?

Re: Blackhat is not illegal
It's about control, people. The state and the corps see small independent marketers as problems, because we insist on freedom. We don't think trying to really make money, doing small-time just what the big corps do, using pseudonyms, maintaining privacy and anonymity, and so forth are 'fraud' activities because the state and the corps don't like it, and want to paint it as criminal. Their motto is: If they can't control us, we must be evil.

They really, really don't like the internet giving us guys the de-facto freedom to make money and store much of it without leaving much of a transaction trail. If we aren't following somebody else's rules, and can make our money and deposit it outside their system, without them knowing where it came from and were it went, it drives them crazy. So they're clamping down, beginning with sources of info that give people the resources to exercise that freedom. That's the broader picture of what this is all about. Control, total control.

This could be the case.

We do know that CL knows about this forum. CL is a big deal all over the world now. It is very possible that CL reported the spamming and suspect activity to the feds.

Usefull thread. A lot of words of wisdom here. I can agree that BH does not equal criminal. Gotta have some kind of ethics even if they are low... hehe
