LOL dude, it's pretty hard to cover your tracks when you have to pay taxes on your commissions.

Why does it matter if its a chick or a 40 year old man? If thats the case, then just say that your girlfriend was doing it, and your off the hook. What makes it illegal is that he/she is promising the 'mark' something that he will never get + causing his credit card to be charged, something he never agreed to.

TO put this simple if the person who does the end CPA / Sale and the guy who thinks he is getting something he doesnt get its fraud.
Guy wants cam show, you say hi sign up here for cam show, Guy does not get cam show = Fraud.
If someones not getting what they wanted and did something for it its FRAUD simple as that
Its like a store having a sign outside saying WE HAVE Apple Ipads for $5 give us your credit card (charging them $200) and we will post you the Ipad in 2 weeks. And ofcourse never posting it.

I'm ok with ewhoring, although I've never done it - mainly because I'm not absolutely certain on how to cover my tracks. I have some clues on how to hide (thanks!), but don't want my reputation smeared because someone else has an ethical issue with it.

I think the fact that the CL section has got so much attention in this post it should be either be taken down or made private. They have been changing weekly because of "cl scams" and it has taken a toll on a lot of people thus far, not to mention honest guys who who need to promote legitimate mom'n'pop businesses.
Vote to take down or make private that section as well and retake cl back from what it can potentially turn into in the next few months.

We again will work on solutions to probably bring them all back for you. If its in our forum users interest we will fight for it back no matter the case.
WE again dont support fraud but these sections COULD be used legitimately but for now they are gone.
So accept it be patient and maybe in the future you will be thankful it got removed

i don't think that's going on....i don't think people are being holier than thou, and i don't think they are gloating....i think people are just reacting to the news, that's all....
i think if they had a clearer sense of what was going on w/other bhw members they'd be more sensitive to the comments they make...but for now, they only have 1/2 the story and are commenting only on what they know.
the mods and higher ups know more than what is going on so you have more of an understanding of what to say, what not to say....it's not fair to judge the rest who just are hearing a few bits of news, make comments based on the info given. the mods and everybody keep saying how a great move this all is, and so a lot on this forum is giving you guys support and going along with your decision....i hardly call that gloating

Keep in mind guys that the subtitle of Black Hat World is black hat SEO forum, not black hat fraud forum. The difference between those 2 categories is night and day. I'm sure some of you know the story of Amish Shah. He got a visit from the Feds when he was 16 for black hat methods he had been using. All charges were dropped since he was an A student and had no previous offenses. If he would've been convicted, his jail time would've totalled 80 years if I remember correct. Ever since that ordeal, he has changed his ways for the better. Now look where he is - a multi millionaire from white hat marketing.
TBH, I've been wondering for a while who set up an actual ewhore section, considering this type of thing could land you in jail. Same goes for some of these CL methods, HOWEVER, the CL section as a whole was not made for these type of methods.
