Black or white?

black is hurting my eyes
i switched to white theme

I turned once the white theme, my eyes still burn to this day.

I like to black theme. It is best than white.

Black at home, white at work (at least it's easily confused with other programs )

People with astigmatism (aproximately 50% of the population) find it harder to read white text on black than black text on white. Part of this has to do with light levels: with a bright display (white background) the iris closes a bit more, decreasing the effect of the "deformed" lens; with a dark display (black background) the iris opens to receive more light and the deformation of the lens creates a much fuzzier focus at the eye.

However, for me it is the other way around.

The great thing on BHW is: you have a choice and can test it for yourself.

I personally liked the black theme because of the black hat (hacker) kinda vibes. But it puts a lot of strain on the eyes after a point of time.
