Black or white?

It's been a while since I joined BHW, but just realised that you can turn the theme white in 'preferences'.

I personally liked the black theme because of the black hat (hacker) kinda vibes. But it puts a lot of strain on the eyes after a point of time.

Curious, which theme do you guys use?

Yes, you right about the black theme, it's hard to navigate for me.
Also white theme is not white color but gray color, which is pretty cool to navigate and soothing to eyes.

Yes, the grey also works better with the night light settings on windows for me, as I already use them to try and reduce eye strain on other sites, so flipping around isnt as hard.

You guys not alone! I use white theme for many years since I found it has this feature, I personally found so called black theme or "dark mode" is really hurt my eyes. One more tip, I always open ambient light when in the night if using laptop.

Later, I read somewhere scientific paper or whatever, says dark mode does not have more benefits than white mode, this is a myth.

Maybe people are different, someone found dark theme is really good, while I found it is really stressing my eyes.
