can anybody give quick explanation about their difference?

White Hat SEO - Strictly following the Google Webmaster Guidelines (focusing more on what's best for the user).

Black Hat SEO - Discovering and manipulating flaws in Google's algorithm to gain an advantage in the SERPs (focusing more on what's best for the search engines).

Grey Hat SEO - Using a combination of both white hat SEO and black hat SEO.

By the way, you could have just searched Google to find this answer.

Black Hat - High-risk, high-reward.
White Hat - Low-risk, low-to-high reward depending on how much time and money you throw at it.

Never use black hat strategies for a client's website unless you have their informed consent.
 
Black Hat - reward seen within 3-6 months...
White Hat - reward seen after 1 year or never...

question.. does white hat really exist?
If you start building backlinks, thats blackhat already.
 
People have different definitions of what's considered "black" or "white" hat.

It doesn't really make a difference, just find something that works for you and stick with it.
 
All of these little titles are overused too much. Either it works or it doesn't. At the end of the
day you can manipulate organic growth and safely rank a website or you can hammer it and
watch it go up and then crash.

Whitehat seo is really bullshit. When you start building backlinks you break Googles tos. Still the difference is what most people pointed out where bh seo is all about quick bucks and whitehat is hoping for the long term.

Don't think in terms of white hat and black hat, just think in terms of what works and how much risk you are willing to take on.
 
White Hat - Long term success
Black Hat - Short term success, but costly in the end because you just have to do it again.
 
Black hat is more about using tools and building backinks in volumes, white hat is the slower and natural looking alternative.

Every week one white hat vs black hat thread appears and tragically its not from new members.

If you don't know how to do a simple forum search of older thread, OP white and back hat are bad for you.
 
There is no difference, they are both SEO. Getting your site ranked is more important than wondering what colour each of your methods is.
