Hello everyone,

I’m planning to launch a cleaning business outside Europe this October and I’ve noticed several competitors already have 1,000+ backlinks and dominate Google’s top spots. Is there any way to catch up and how long time will it take to reach them? What SEO-pages and who? would you recommend for a strong start? I haven’t built my website yet but aim to go live in October.

You can definitely catch up, but it takes startegy. Start with strong SEO, build location pages and focus on high-quality backlinks - niche edits, citations and press releases help. With consistency, expect traction in 3-6 months.

Hey! Exciting move. With smart local SEO, solid service pages, and backlink outreach, you can catch up. Check out Ahrefs or Backlinko for strategy. Let me know if you need help!

I see - what will things like this cost?

Great to see you're planning ahead! Since you're launching in October, now is a good time to prepare a content and backlink strategy. Focus first on creating strong local SEO pages (like service + city pages), Google Business Profile, and citations. For backlinks, start with niche edits, guest posts, and local directory listings. Tools like Ahrefs or Ubersuggest can help monitor your competitors. Catching up with 1,000+ backlinks depends on quality over quantity — if you go strategic, results can start within 3–6 months, but full authority may take longer.

Why you need to focus on Black Hat Strategy? bro, my opinion is to go with white hat and must be focus on Branding. Its long term game. Ads will help you to make branding quickly. I've started a garage door service at NYC. Focusing same white hat with google ads. BTW best of luck.

Smart to plan ahead! Work with a good SEO from day one — even 300 strong backlinks over time can compete if your content is better.

They have 1k+ backlinks because they might be well-established high authority old sites in that niche.

What you need to do is create location-specific pages with a proper silo structure. Build quality content for them, then build foundational links, citations, and guest posts for it.

You will see good results within a few months.

I have extensive experience. Depending on the country, results might not be so easy to see in the cleaning niche. In a competitive city, it might take one year of relentless work. It will work, just set your expectations right. And don’t try black hat methods, they are not necessary, and if caught, will set you back.

In a competitive city, put your focus on local SEO.
