so as Black Friday is approaching how are you guys planing your marketing strategies. We run ecom stores and we have seen huge drop in conversion rates mostly because people are waiting for Black Friday.

so what are your strategies and thoughts? as cpms are going to go up.
we are planing to run awareness campaigns and get as many people as we can on our email list and make them aware of our brands.

One thing I don't understand is everyone who is at big level in this ecom game tells you to buy your traffic early but how can you buy your traffic early if people have no intention to buy. and for FB guys as you know we need few days for the ads to optimize but how can you test your offers before black friday? they all will be going negative

how i have been going about it for the past 3 years which i have seen great results is taking this month out to prepare for christmas and new years

have everything ready and running december 1st and thats when you can get the best bang for your buck, gathering emails for leads

Wrote my black friday stuff in march... working on summer 2019 stuff now. Publish early and update, update, update!

You kinda answered your question yourself.
Awareness Campaigns and Lead Generation... save your deals now before you lose access to the best BF Deals (scarcity) and then follow up with e-mail drip campaigns, information around the product and so on.
I'm not claiming being the expert here, but this is just common sense.

BTW, I don't believe someone will share their e-commerce strategy for BF :D No Way

ofcourse you can because

people would be buying a ton of stuff for christmas I am just more interested in blackfriday as we already have planned for christmas. Blackfriday seems much harder as would be already looking for deals from some specific brands

yeah the conversion rate 2 weeks before black friday is always gonna be horrible

if you are intent to target black friday/cyber monday/small business day then i would start gathering an email list immediately if you don't already have one

should have an email submit button for "opt in for exclusive black friday(cyber monday/small business day) deals"

i think that would be the best way to go about it

IF you want to be a bit immoral about it, you can find some of your top competitors and sabotage them

idk if its against forum rules to list those methods here

Nope! Black Friday sales have to be good. Sales from after Christmas to about mid February are substantially lower because everybody blew all their money and they're less likely to buy.

What about black friday theme in the adult dating niche? Anybody has any ideas?
