Well, GPU mining has been dead for about 6 months. ASIC mining s also dead, at least for home miners. In case you are not ready to start mining industrial style and spend tens of thousands for mining equipments, do not go into this. I ve been into BTC for over 2 years now, used to own 7 GPU rigs and 23 GPUs up to a six months ago. I have sold everything and switched to cloud mining, mostly scrypt but I exchange my alt coins for BTC. This has been been highly profitable. Currently I use 5 different cloud mining services, ROI is anywhere between 2 months and 5 months, depending on a company.
What is even better, no heat, no noise, no equipment breaking down, no power bills, no switching pools, no hassle of any kind. Just coins being sent to you every day/week depending on you cloud mining choice. Will gladly help anyone interested into cloud but ASIC miners, waste of time and energy, at least that is my opinion.
