I am just interested in bitcoin mining. Is it worth a try? I heard it consumes so much electricity and all that ? Any expert can give info about bitcoin

What are the paths in bitcoin to earn money ?

i think you should try another coin it is going harder every year for bitcoin ,search witch coin is better to mine and start mining

I fee like (personally) mining are getting less and less profitable for every day passing by. Even if you keep up with what coins to mine and whatnot, to actually get an ROI takes quite some more time than it used to. You need to constantly update your hardware, and by that I mean constantly. The only way to make it as profitable as it was back in the days, I guess mine coins you believe will rise, but to avoid the hassle you might as well just throw in the same amount buying that coin instead...

Halving just occurred which means a lot of suppliers just left the game, to be honest the people who are making money are those who have practically no electric bill

Does it consume that much ?

It's not profitable and yes it does consume some good amount of electricity. U better choose some new coin that u believe in and mine it if that's what u want to do.

Right now the best place to mine bitcoin is in India - State: Himachal Pradesh. Cheap Electricity and Cheap Land. But its really hard to make it profitable. You got better chances with Altcoins If I am not wrong.

Please, unless you have electricity under 3 USD cents, it's not worth it. At this point, you will barely break even at those costs, especially after halving. And I am not even counting the hardware costs. Every decent location with cheap electricity has been pretty much tapped out. Kazakhstan being all the rage right now.

Completely forget about GPU mining, ROI on equipment with free electricity is around 36 months at this point.

All in all, if you have to ask this kind of question about mining, then don't even start.

If you want to see how the current situation looks like, just check https://whattomine.com/

If you actually want to learn something about mining, specifically spec mining with a few GPUs as a hobby, you can join this discord here https://discord.gg/XEyWkf

Or this one https://discord.gg/7qT5At

Just don't ask idiotic questions that have been covered 100 times before. It's not BHW and such laziness and entitlement is not tolerated there.
