Bing today, launched a call extension (like Google's Pay Per Call model).... Wondering, any of you had any luck with Bing Ads? Are they any good for local businesses?

I am thinking about allocating some of our marketing budget (for local clients) to Bing Ads but would love to know your thoughts.

It's not the ad network that's good or bad. It's a question if it serves your audience or not and also how good your ads are at attracting that audience. The worst ad in the world will not be effective even when you properly target your audience. Conversely, the best ad in the world will not be effective if you can't reach your audience.

The best form of advertising is when people are searching. They are pre-qualifying themselves by the keywords they use. Bing is a search engine and I've helped many clients get more sales with it. It's not the size of Google but you shouldn't dismiss getting 10-20% more traffic from Bing.

What type of people use Bing? If that’s your audience then it will probably work. Idk what Bings audience is but if I were to say I feel like its mostly older people

When I say audience when speaking of search, I mean those searching for you, not if they are old, young or any other attributes. As long as they search, they are your audience.
