seems like Meta has eased up a bit recently, but these things usually change in cycles. I had still keep backup payment method ready becuz it can tighten again anytime.

There could be a broader meta-policy or risk control change. If you're seeing more declines across different cards and regions, it could be a temporary acceptance or verification issue rather than just your account.
