It is not just u that has brought this up. i have noticed less problems recently than have in the last few months, particularlly regardinng credit cards that have been declined for no apparent reason before. It might just be a passing good period but the approval rate certainly does look better.
Not just you, from what I've seen Meta's card acceptance swings in waves, they tighten hard for a stretch then loosen again, so the last few weeks lining up with easier adds sounds about right. The geo mismatch part is usually the bigger trigger though, cards that don't match the account region get flagged regardless of the overall mood. I wouldn't count on it staying easy, these windows tend to close again without warning.
