Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I work as an OnlyFans agency manager with more than 5 models, and there is a small Discord group where other managers discuss various topics. I'm not that good at Reddit and still learning, but they claim that most of the big NSFW subreddits are owned by OFM, which bans other models, etc. Most of them already have proof and are creating youtube videos about this topic. Is this a real thing? If yes, how can someone control a subreddit community? I don't get it because most of the big subreddits are over 10 years old, do you buy them from their previous owners?

im sure it's a real thing. it's not in the realm of impossibility after all.
there have been several cool threads here of people growing adult subreddits from 0 to 100k+ in relatively fast fashion. when you are the owner [and backup mods under your control incase your main gets banned], you set the rules of policing the board.
haven't seen much info about buying out mods, but why not -- we're in a capitalistic society and money talks. can also try seeking out reddit boards for sale. i've seen a few big deals facilitated on this forum specifically large adult boards.
back when i did reddit traffic [before the new interface update] i got mod on several big boards by offering custom CSS templates. all of them let me get away with my method (image watermarking).

Don't know about nsfw subs, but I can tell you for sure some subs in other niches have been sold.

Interesting observation though but I suppose they buy off the sub. Afterall that's a gold mine for the OF agencies. And I'd probably do that if I were an owner. Survival of the fittest dude.

I agree, I think I will start doing the same thing, A lot of other people are targeting this thing at the moment, you will have your own audience and you can control it, I wonder how much the big subs are earning from this.
I don't think there are other niches that are strong as Onlyfans tbh, I wonder what other methods people are using.

Yeah a lot of them are owned by agencies, at bare minimum they are bribing the mods. Some agencies even own the model's Reddit accounts.
The current strategy on Reddit is to own the Subreddit/Bribe the mods and then buy upvotes on posts to inflate the ranking on Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly.
If you see a popular model suddenly disappear, it's because they've been banned for upvote manipulation or the model cancelled their contract with their agency and the agency has decided to delete the account out of spite.

What do you mean by that? how they can silence other agencies?

They ban you from the sub so you cant promote yourself , basically cornering the market .
Is this even allowed? I see a lot of OFM groups talking about this at the moment, they are planning to do Youtube videos on this topic and expose them I wonder if that will have any affect at all

Do you really think reddit users will go to youtube to find reviews about a sub ?
Do you really think someone should care about a bunch of whiny kids who cant unite and make theyr own sub ?
Do you really think they have any right to make money from someone elses work ?
OFM should start working instead of paying people $2 an hour to do shitty stuff for them so they can see how much work is needed to grow a sub, maybe then theyll ask to pay and not take everything for granted !
I did not know it's that big, these people must be making real $$, I wonder how much each subreddit can make

I promise you anything you see about reddit online is not the real strategy its all gate kept however i will say buying niche subreddits work and even creating your own for specific things just make sure to moderate it properly otherwise it will get banned had countless 50-100k subreddits get banned

All the money is made on the backend by the agencies, using chatting agencies to chat with the customers in order to sell them PPV's.
It's all a funnel to get user's to buy videos from the girls in OnlyFans DM's.

depends on the subreddit tbh i dont wanna throw what i do but even some small subreddits 20-50k members pinned for a month will get a couple hundred subs and you may get a whale who spends $1500-3000 but for the most part i price each sub at like $1-2USD problem is a lot of the subreddits for sale or "grown" are bots and tier 3 so its all shit unless you do it yourself or have a good connection.
