So some improvement this week, despite some FL problems. I know for a fact my liking, which is 450-500 a day, it pretty much worthless on FL right now. I'm only liking by hashtag. I need to start finding ways to like better photos, so that will be my goal this week...

You said "So I spend most of my days coding now, that's what I'm best at. But it's always nice to try a few social or SEO projects once in a while. I kind of want to start publishing iOS apps, so an Instagram audience sounds appealing to me. And now that Instagram is more popular than Twitter, it is the logical network to try."

But can you give us a bit more insight into how you actually plan to monetize these followers you're gathering once you hit your goal?

When the accounts get strong enough, I will probably try to sell shoutouts on some of them. But primarily I would like to be able to create my own apps and use the accounts to get downloads on those. Then I would monetize the app. Since expenses are at only $30-$40 a month, and since it is on autopilot, I'm not in a huge hurry to monetize them. I could always just sell the accounts as well.

6. Like in the business and job niches? No. At first glance that would be a tough niche. Selling apps to kids is the easiest way to make money on IG, other niches like sports, clothing, etc, hold more potential, but there needs to be significant strides made in the mobile purchase/check out processes before people are always buying stuff from social networks on their phones. IG may have features in teh works, but their availability to people like us is not exactly known. It's just hard to see why people would look on IG for job related stuff, I do have a luxury account, if that's close enough.
My apologies, the question was phrased terribly. Are you using FL on any accounts you maintain for work - you place of employment? Are all these personal accounts? I guess I am trying to investigate if people use FL on work accounts. I successfully got a soft ban on my main account. I was worried for a couple of days because FL was being screened/blocked but mobile was fully functional. Came back on today actually. Checked the stats I accidentally set commenting daily limit to 1k vs. 100 daily limit and was blocked at 467 which was impressive but not good!

what do you mean by worthless? is your likes not counted or?

4. I don't scrape user from tags, I just follow the followers of other, related accounts. Right now my photo scraping queries are "#tag", but I plan to eventually find a better way to scrape photos that gives better results. It can't easily be done in FL and may take more work though.
I did not realize there are other ways in FL to get better results (or is it even in FL)? Interested to find out when you do. I have been doing the same. I try to be religious with niche specific tags but I wonder if I have too many - 29. This is because for each "query" I create all possible "query types". Is this redundant or useful?? Essentially it would be cool to know if it is even at all necessary to create all "query types" for the same tag/query.

Hi bro,

Do you sell your instagram bot? If yes, how much?

Google FollowLiker

I'm pretty sure 29 is too many. I only use 2-3, sometimes none.

Well basically I have entire days where I only unfollow users, but I continue liking. As of now those unfollowing days are fairly ineffective, very ineffective actually.

Place of employment? I don't manage social media for any companies/employers. These are purely Instagram accounts I am growing myself for my own benefit.

Not the greatest week, I haven't really had time to do as much following on the main account, so it grew a little less. I will be patient and once I have a refined system let things roll for about a month or two, if they don't pick up a bit by around June 1st, I'll be looking to add a few accounts. Half the battle is waiting for the right, OG usernames to pop up for sale.

While we are a long ways out from monetizing these accounts, I have been tossing around ideas for apps and mobile stores, eventually I'll settle on a type of game to hopefully develop and/or what I want to sell from these accounts.

where did you buy legit ig accounts with active followers?

I only bought quality usernames. I got some accounts with ~10k-12k followers already on them, but they were older accounts that were pretty inactive, only 100-200 likes per pic. Far from legit.

Awesome journey. I will definitely be following this. I have a question regarding vps. I googled it and understand what it is but I don't understand why another operating system is required. Also in fl, for each ig account, is it a different project or all one project? Thanks for any input.

Technically you can just run FL on your regular windows machine, but it would be difficult to do other regular tasks on it, since it takes up a lot of RAM. I put all of my accounts in the same projects. I have a project for posting, one for unfollowing, and one for following. And every account is in each.

cool journey...you have made me get interested in instagram.

you say you follow the followers of other related accounts.
what if the account has +100k followers, can FL really handle that amount?
how frequently do you post pictures?
are pictures you post original or ripped from other accounts?

Thanks

Can you explain a little bit how that PR traffic booster for Tumblr works? It seems like a great tool.

Basically good, one word usernames.

Where did this come from? Haha but PRTB is not available to the public anymore, so don't waste your time unless you can buy a key from someone who already has it.

It only scrapes the 50 or so most recent followers at a time.
