Big Changes Coming to Google Search Engine!

Google Search is about to transform! The way we use Google daily is going to change dramatically, giving our search results a new dimension.

Before:
✅ You had a question.
✅ You searched it on Google and got results.
✅ Most results were sponsored, requiring you to scroll down.
✅ You had to read 2-3 articles to find the right answer.
✅ Finally, you got your answer.

Now:
✅ You have a question.
✅ You search it on Google, and you get...
✅ All the answers together in a summary.
✅ No more scrolling.
✅ No more extra searching.

Will there be no more sponsored articles?
I'm not sure about this last part. Google Search is a massive $48 billion industry. They won't harm such a giant easily. However, this announcement surprised me. Google has realized the world is constantly changing.

The search business model is changing.

SEO is changing (how your website or content is ranked on Google). From now on, being selected by Google's AI (Gemini) will be crucial. It’s no longer just "SEO optimization"...

It's now "Gemini optimization."

How are you preparing for 2025? ❓

Sooner or later there will be some changes in search results.
 
So they are just introducing Gemini to the search and make it look like we are chatting with An AI.

But shouldn't it be for queries which don't require us to look for websites.

What If I want To look for locksmiths in my town?

Thanks for info, two days ago, I am sure I saw the "AI" index from Google search, but when I searched again, it disappears, maybe this function will come soon.

You can try using the USA version of Google Search. Sometimes it shows results, and sometimes it doesn't.

Which news do you need to see? Do you want to include Google generative AI in the search results, or are you asking for my opinion?

I definitely doubted that Google had included AI in the search engine and here we are knowing the truth!
 
Google predicted what OpenAI is going to do, and implemented the same before them. This is what corporate companies do. They either look beyond the curve or become history.
 
So, no more blogs? No more human-generated content? Will bloggers die out or will they be compensated? I remember Google starting with simple tools like currency converter and local temperatures.

Websites that had those tools started becoming extinct. Now it's turn for the blogs and articles. I think it's more like cheating and less like progressing.

But unfortunately, the biggest and the strongest have the say in the room ... All others just watch their ruins ...
 
Search engine is a 30 year old technology... And it's a dynamic one where there's nobody to control what happens.

Time to evolve. Search engines are too slow for today's western standards with cars having 300 hp becoming normal and people making $10k per day.

Certainly google is not a luxury anymore. It's a burden.

For broad topics I go for books. After realizing 99% of content on the internet gives me glimpses of knowledge like 1% of what I should know.

Then for something simple I perform modified google search like this

nice dinners -site:medium.com -site:Temu.com -site:Reddit.com -site:dev.to -site:stackoverflow.com -site:Quora.com -site:Github.com -site:support.google.com -site:pinterest.com -site:tiktok.com -site:facebook.com -site:youtube.com -site:twitter.com

There are some niches where I would write completely different modified queries.

And also I use GPT4o - that's $20 a month.

And I have select YouTube and BHW people who I follow. They answer a ton of questions.

I also like to speak with other people in real life about their ideas.

Edit: I have blocked YouTube homepage and YouTube sidebars. This helped me a lot to focus on YouTube on what is important. I only use YouTube search bar to explore YouTube.
