BHW team, can there be a suggestion topic without getting it closed immediately?

I made a topic this morning regarding the new bump feature in order to reply earlier to your customers, which is great:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a-new-forum-feature-d.1275403/
But this topic is being closed and the other update topic is closed too, so suggestions or questions related to the initial questions, require multiple topics.
Not the best suggestion if you personally ask me.

Because, I got a question or bug related to this new feature:

It says:

LnQpZ8P

But my reply was:

pHdUlbv

Last Sunday: more than 36 hours ago. Today, I received three replies in my topic and according to the rules, it should be allowed to bump a thread after 24 hours?

Just my 2 cents.

That is cool... Bravo BHW ;)

I didn't know about the bump, what to say, a man learns while he's alive and dies stupid. I mean on me :p

Re your question "can threads be left open"?
The answer is yes - where the answer doesn't already exist.

For example, the thread you raised https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a-new-forum-feature-d.1275403/ entitled "a new forum feature?" contained a screenshot about our new bump management / marketplace engagement feature with a request to have a stuck thread that shows the changes we are making.

I closed your thread and provided a link to the answers that were live in the forum already. We close threads for many reasons but in this case to ensure that there is a single thread that relates to a product upgrade or release so there is one source of information about it and link any questions into that thread.

If you have a question about the product I'd recommend asking it in the thread that the product relates to. This way we have one place to answer questions about a service. It just makes more sense to keep all comments in one place rather than flood a section with threads where the questions have already been answered. Just as you would with a marketplace thread the idea is to keep the content in one place allowing a single source of truth about an upgrade.

Where you have a question relating to a thread I'd recommend linking to the thread in question so we can see the issue - rather than providing screenshots.

The changelog you asked about is here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/change-log-behind-the-scenes-at-bhw.1268318/#post-13734458
The open and dedicated thread relating to that product update can be found here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/new-functionality-bhw-marketplace-thread-bumping.1275418/ I'd recommend posting your question within this thread and including a link to your thread.

I hope that makes sense.

You know it's coming -

Asked - Answered - Closed.
