There's been a new update to the media rules. Advertising or outbound links are no longer allowed on media, but there's currently a banned member with 205 media accounts who's doing this. I reported their media, but they say they'll investigate.

I also saw some usernames like saizamor doing it.. or imahacker something... perhaps even jhonchena?! Who knows... But yeah, i'm sure the staff will sort these things out. I think they're doing an outstanding job, especially in the past few days.

The rules should be equal for everyone, if it is said that advertising cannot be done in the media, then it cannot be done.
 
If you see something, report it. We are working on clearing up the backlog of media items breaking the rules, but it's always possible we accidently skip something. This is where reporting stuff is really helpful.
 
They didn't reject your report, they don't have any reason to protect this banned member, you did a good job finding those media posts promoting his stuff, just be patient and mods will take action

They were.

Not all Mods have the option (permissions) to delete them, which is why that is not an immediate action.

In general, the response time is pretty quick for 99% of the reports we get, but some require an individual who handles that sort of issue.
