BHW Middleman Service

Not sure where to post this, so decide to post this here as it seems the most relevant. Mod, feel free to move this if you find a better section.

So I've sourced for a couple of pretty decent IG accounts I am interested to buy on Fameswap but I've heard lots of horrible bad reviews about the Fameswap Escrow service, especially after googling it, most of them come from BHW members on here who have been scammed on Fameswap. This puzzled me because I don't understand how a staff on their website can scam their own users, ridiculous really, not to mention their insanely high 15% fees.

I am wondering if BHW has any kind of middleman service on here? I can get my seller to sign up on here if necessary as he seems very cooperative and open. Thanks.

How about escrow.com as we don't currently have a service like that available via he forum?

I've always wondered is Escrow.com similar to Fameswap Escrow i.e are they the same company or totally two different entities?
I've thought of using Escrow.com but isn't their fees ridiculously expensive. Correct me if I'm wrong but they charge 3 fees combined together, a standard fee, a concierge fee and a payment processing fee.

Would you be open to helping a fellow member out with this? You are the most trusted member on this site and my seller is open to signing up on BHW for you to be our middleman for this. If you want, (because I feel bad and I know your workload here is already tough enough so not expecting any free service from you), I can also pay you a middleman's fee. I'd rather pay the money to a fellow BHW member than Escrow.com.

I've bought 2 sites that I remember and one was close to 5K and the other was in the 1500.00 range and had no problems at all.

I would be comfortable using them again in the event I was in your shoes.

Congrats on the smooth sale. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the escrow fees involved for the $5,000 and $1,500 deal? Did you have to cover all the fees yourself or its split between you and the seller?

We split the fees but I don't remember how much we paid. It is pricy for sure but that was the only game in town.

The 1500.00 deal was a site that I built out and sold for close to 28K so I was fine with paying those purchase fees there for sure (I sold it locally so there was no fees as I got a bank check from the seller) and the 5K site I am still sitting on and will probably be sitting on it for some time unless I find a JV partner.
 
Traded via escrow for one IG account (value of 2,500$) paid around 150-170$ fee if I remember well :)
