Hey guys,

I was just thinking to myself that it's about time I got out and started doing a bit more offline networking so was browsing around on Meetup.com for something near me, and most of it looks like a crappy pitch-fest with wannabe "SEO" firms trying to sell over-priced services to noobs.

So it occurred to me... why not organise a regular BHW London Meetup?

I've never really used Meetup.com before but it looks like a decent way to get a bunch of us together. I'm not really looking for JVs, but I'm happy to share my knowledge (mainly site flipping) and would be great to meet some like-minded blackhatters :D

If we could get at least 10 people every time, it would probably be worthwhile. So... who's up for it? I'm pretty disorganised but if there's enough interest, I'm sure we could figure something out on a monthly basis!

Can't promise that I would travel outside London, but if it's relatively local and I can have a beer then I'm usually keen :)

Show up and let me grab the ideas that are making you 10,000 a day, while I contribute by giving you a few tips of how to list your site on Page 1 in your niche.

I can just tell you my business doesn't rely on PR 1 but I'm still making money.

Sounds more like, having a beer and a smoke (whilst taking about money) always a good combination :)

Are you referring to me? Or to the current meetup options?!

If you're referring to me, I have no idea what you are talking about. I already run a six figure business, I don't need to steal people's ideas. Where did I say anything about giving SEO tips? I don't really know the first thing about SEO, I mainly just broker web based businesses... and my business doesn't rely on PR either lol.

By all means though, I'm just putting the idea out there, anyone involved in IM could come along.
 
Man, I wish I was in London. That's a great idea by the way. I should be passing through there in a few months though.

This is weird I was just thinking about this the other day. Would be a great idea and a thread similar to this pops up once in a while so i think there would be an interest in this.
 
I asked a simular thing, i didnt do a thread but i noticed a few people were , as i am , in Thailand so i said , " hey lets meet for a few beers, " one guy went right off , and said FU man ur not stealing my ideas lol. i said i really really think were not in the same niche, and i was asking u for a beer, unless ur niche is beer and u dont want to talk about it.

so anyway, it didnt happen lol. i think there are 12 bhatters here in thailand , shame the secrecy of this forum has to melt over into a pure and simple meeting over a beer...

but then looking on this thread there are always dickheads who say things like mrsmith ( very original user name ) did.
i see cambride and england on here, they should go to this, i know i would if i was in the uk.

on the other hand, no one has to reply to any questions asked so whats the problem.

and i have never met meathead , but if ur looking to venture into flipping , this is the meeting you DEFFO want ot be at , i hear this guy is a genious at flipping sites.

OP - just pick a pub close to a main station and see who turns up?
